Kosti Deti is an acclaimed Albanian pianist known for his virtuosity, originality, and expressive depth. Since 2021, he is under the guidance of one of the most regarded artists in the world Dmitry Alexeev and has been offered a place to pursue the Artistic Diploma in Advanced Piano Performance at the Royal College of Music in London.
His performances have graced prominent stages, including the München Gasteig, Salzburg Stiftung Mozarteum, Prague Rudolfinum, Vienna Musikverein, the Royal Palace in Lisbon, München Künstlerhaus, the National Theatre in Porto “Antonio De Malia”, National Hall in Vilnius, Lithuania, Opera House of Albania and many others.
A multi-award-winning pianist, Deti has received over fifty prizes in national and international competitions, including Austria, Italy, France, Russia, Canada, England, and Spain. He won First Prize at the Amadeus International Competition 2022, Grand Prix the Valletta International Piano Competition, First Prizes at the International Moscow Music Competition, and the Franz Liszt International Piano Competition in Spain, as well as top honors at the Paris International Music Competition and the London Classical Music Competition. Deti was also named “Pianist of Summer 2013” and “Virtuoso Pianist” at the Vivace Vilnius Festival, where he took part in masterclasses with Michael Lewin, and was awarded a scholarship to study at the Boston Conservatory.

Deti has learned from distinguished pianists such as Dimitri Bashkirov, Walter Fleischmann, Michel Beroff, Michael Lewin, Edith Maria Fazakas, Benedetto Lupo, Antoinette Van Zabner etc. He has attended prominent festivals and academies, including the Saline Royale Academy in France, ClaviCologne Festival and Academy at Mozarteum as part of the Salzburg Festspiele, the International Summer Festival and Academy of Brescia, and BISMA in Poland, Vilnius Piano Festival.

Deti studied at the University of Music and Arts in Vienna under Univ. Prof. Johannes Kropfitsch, Jura Margulis, and Markus Prause. He holds an Academic Diploma in Ensemble Playing with distinction, having been guided by Univ. Prof. Evgeny Sinaisky, Denise Benda, and Dr. Jean Beers. He also completed his Master’s Degree in Piano Performance at the Giuseppe Tartini Conservatory in Italy under Univ. Prof. Teresa Trevisan, following his Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Arts, Albania, under Univ. Prof. Nora Çashku.
Apart from his concert activity, Kosti gained diplomatic acknowledgement regarding his contribution towards the cultural relation between Austria and Albania. Kosti Deti also appears as Organizer and Artistic Director of the gala concert Alexander Peçi Sounds in Vienna, held in celebration of the 70th anniversary of the renowned Albanian composer Alexander Peçi.
His repertoire spans a wide range, encompassing works from the Baroque period to 21stcentury compositions, with pieces representing a variety of styles and eras.
Upcoming engagements include a recital at the Tchaikovsky Conservatory and a European concert tour.
