Kosti Deti is an Albanian Pianist who has received great ratings for the interpretation, virtuosity, and originality in his interpretation.
Currently, he is studying at the “University of Music and Arts of the city of Vienna” in Austria, under the guidance of Univ. Prof. Jura Margulis and Univ. Prof. Markus Prause.
He takes lessons from one of the most highly regarded pianist of the world Dmitry Alexeev since 2021.
He received his Master’s Degree and Bachelor’s Degree in Piano Performance, respectively at the “Giuseppe Tartini” Conservatory in Italy under the direction of Univ. Professor Teresa Trevisan, and at the University of Arts of Albania under the direction of Univ. Professor Nora Çashku. Recently he received his Academic Diploma in Ensemble playing with excellency.
He is the winner of around 50 prizes at national and international competitions all over the world: Austria, Italy, France, Russia, Canada, England, Spain etc.
Golden Medals and First Prizes at the “Amadeus International Competition 2022“”, “Valletta International Piano Competition”, “Victoria Caffa Rigetti” International Piano Competition, International Instrumental Music Competition in honor of Arthur Rubinstein, “International Moscow Music Competition”, “Franz Liszt International Piano Competition” in Spain, “Paris International Music Competition – 6th Edition”, “London Classical Music Competition” etc. He received the award “Pianist of Summer 2013” and “Virtuoso Pianist” at the Vivace Villnius Festival.
Kosti Deti has a broad activity all over Europe and further, covering his performances in: Austria, Italy, Malta, Greece, Macedonia, Portugal, Lithuania, United States of America and more.
He lists masterclasses with well-world-known Piano Masters: Dimitri Bashkirov, Walter Fleischmann, Michel Beroff, Michael Lewin, Edith Maria Fazakas, Benedetto Lupo etc.
His recent achievements:
• He performed at the at the Wiener Musikverein, at the “Tschechische Musik (Czech Musik)” Festival
• He next performs for the concert season 23/24 at the Grand Hall of Opera House of Albania with the Philharmonic Orchestra ALB, following his Debut at the previous season.
• Concert series at some of the most prestigious Halls of Vienna “Grosser Ehrbar Saal”, “Salon im Alten Rathaus”, “Hietzinger Saal” and “Haus der Ingenieure” etc.
• 16 awards in years 2021-2022
• Performed with the RTSH symphonic orchestra (national radio- television orchestra of Albania) and with the Orchestra of the University of Music and Arts of the city of Vienna, at the Festival “Neue Musik”.
• Part of well-known Festivals in Salzburg, Italy and France such as ClaviCologne, Saline Royale, BISMA etc.
• Upcoming Recital upon invitation a the “Tchaikovsky Conservatory” in Moscow, Russia.
The release of his first CD in collaboration with Composer Aleksander Peçi.
